About me
You might wonder how a human driven domain like coaching or training goes in relationship with the number driven finance.
After 17 years of working with both people and numbers I can say that, in one way or another, our world is driven by models and patterns. As humans, we think in patterns, we behave in patterns and we live by certain models. Figures and numbers carry within themselves a multitude of models and patterns. In finance we rely on them to show us what is going on and to calculate what to expect in the future.
Business consultant
The many years of experience in the financial field, including various leadership roles had taken me to a high level of understanding of businesses, the models governing a company’s revenues and costs, the relations between functions and departments, the internal procedures and processes (when are they needed and when do they become a burden), the problems leaders face and the solutions that help.
Over the past 14 years I had the amazing opportunity to witness the rise of a small multinational transport and logistics company to a significant name in the industry. I experienced the problems and advantages of a small to medium size company but also the challenges on a corporate level.
As of 2014 I am an expert accountant and a member of The body of expert and licensed accountants in Romania.
I have a true passion for accounting and controlling, I am intrigued by the relations between the numbers, and I continue to be amazed to this day by how much useful information we can obtain when done and interpreted properly.
Accounting only relates the past, and I discovered over the years that understanding the past is not enough if we don’t project the information to the future. So over the last 10 years I turned my focus towards controlling, the design of the financial future of a company, the efficient use of all it’s resources together with finding the best ways to increase sales and at the end the profits.
I stand by the idea that the success of a company depends on all its functions and departments, so my aim is to help companies bring out the best from all of them.
I am eager to share this knowledge with business owners, managers, finance professionals because I honestly believe it can have an important positive impact on the business they are in.

Coach
Coaching started as a hobby, a side track, something to fill up my personal and professional life. But the more I learned, the more I realized that it is something I want to do full time, to incorporate it in all areas of my life. It changed the way I communicate, the way I act as a leader and a professional and finally it shaped my vision of life and purpose altogether.
I must say, why not, that I like myself better since I do and use coaching in my life. It is still a long road ahead of me, but I enjoy where I am and I am excited of where this road can lead to.
One of the first thing I have learned in coaching was that the power to change is in all of us. I truly believe in this statement and this is the motto that drives me through all the work I do with my clients.
Afterwards was the shocking revelation that giving advice may be indeed one way of helping, but allowing the client to come up with their own solution is what it is creating a sustainable long term impact on their lives.
I must admit, being a team leader for most of my career telling people what to do and how they should do it, for me this was a tough bone to crack.
It was very important for me to get a proper training before I would dare call myself a coach, so I choose to learn my basic coaching skills through a rigorous ICF accredited coach training. ICF (International Coaching Federation) is the leading global coaching organization and as a member I’m committed to uphold in my work as a coach the values of Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration and Respect, and I hold myself to the ethical principles and ethical standards of behavior of The ICF Code of Ethics.
